Cradle Cap
- Cradle Cap

Cradle cap are common in babies. A newborn's skin, which is still immature, has to face a number of external and environmental stresses.

From its very first days of life, a baby's scalp (and/or forehead) may react to these stresses and form small, light brown crusty patches. Cradle cap is not linked to the baby's diet, but rather to an excessive secretion of sebum that forms a protective layer on the skin. Cradle cap can cause itchiness sensations and discomfort in babies while it is forming.

Mustela cradle cap care is specially designed for babies' skin from birth(1): it soothes and moisturizes the scalp to remove cradle cap and help prevent it from reappearing.
